RED NECKin

Tremonton Truck Pulls my HOT red neck date! I just love to tease Dubb about the truck pulls as our "red neck" quailty time together. He has been helping our friend Ken out with "Wild Diesel" and he totally loves it. So I get to go and see all their hard work pay off when they pull.

Blazing down the track until the injector lines blew off. Ken took 4th so now the guys will spend the next few weeks working on the truck to get ready for the next pull. This must be a guy thing race break down and fix for the next pull!

Simply Chic Craft Show

Keli and Katie you ladies ROCK ! What a awesome Craft show. My sister and I were blown away by all the talent you had at the craft show! We both bought charm necklace from 2Charming(Customized jewelry and stained glass) thanks Cynthia and Jenifer for helping us pick out the cutest charms that totally match our personality's

Also I got another "purse" but don't tell the "check book natz" aka Dubb he hates how many purses I have, but my mommy always said your not a women unless you have a cute bag and new shoes. Thanks MOM!

Then we went to Elmatador's for lunch my FAV mexican restuartant! We walked thru the Farmer's market on 25th Street!
Wow Ogden is really up and coming with the Farmer's market lots of stuff to brouse thru! Fun day with my sister!

Ogden Pioneer Days 2009

Tonight I got invited to the Rodeo with the family. Dubb's attitude is if you have seen one rodeo you have seen them all he is such the "party poop er" this is a HUGE tradition in my family since I was like 8 years old and we rode with the JR Posse in the rodeo every year.

It was so HOT but it's tradition so SUCK it up and deal with it. It was a good Rodeo and fun times with the family!

It was "tough enough to wear Pink" at the rodeo they had Breast cancer survivors and paid tribute to them it gave us chills to see these brave women!

We got to see the sky diver and they brought in "old Glory"

They had the Budweiser Clydesdale's there. These animals are amazing and so BIG. I just love watching the guys drive these horses it's so cool .
We even got the see "hot sauce Demoss" Cody Demoss rode in the saddle bronc and alot of local Utah Cowboys and Cowgirls!

Here Comes the Bride's

Tonight at YW the gals decided they wanted to make "modest" wedding dress. Our theme for our lessons at SS have been all about Temple Marriage.

So I saved all my newspapers for a month and let the girls have their way with them!

They all are going to be famous MODEST wedding dress designer's so watch out!

More to Harvest

I went out to my garden tonight and to my lovely surprise I had 5 Green Peppers and 58 Jalapeno Peppers to pick ! I never thought I would get so excited to garden.

Harvest Time or is it too early?

My garden looks like it's on "steroids" seriously my tomato plants are as tall as I am. I have been waiting patiently and whisper "sweet nothings" over all my garden all summer long!

And it finally paid off ! 2 Green Peppers and 21 jalapeno peppers. My tomato plants are not far behind. Yeah I can't wait for Salsa BABY !!

I grilled chicken and corn on the BBQ I used the Mesquite. So good I think I'm hooked. Even Dubb gave it the 2 thumbs up!

Thanks Kim for the BBQ advice we loved it and will try it again !

Fun for the Day

Dubb and I went 4-wheelin to Randolph today. It's been awhile since we went riding so it was good to get out in the mountains with the bikes! We are trying to find a new camping spot that we can take the bikes.

But all we found was DIRT !
Hey....... he isn't even dirty. I guess he didn't ride as hard as I did!

Girls Night Out

I got home from vacation and found a invite to a girl's night out. Jessica and Heather sent invites to a few gals in my ward to go to Famous Dave's for dinner. And of course I couldn't say NO!


Good food, gigglin with the girls life is good!

Yellowstone 2009

Yellowstone my Favorite place to vacation. This year we took Dubb's Dad Lon to Yellowstone for a week. He was so excited to see all the animals in the Park. And he also got a free Pass to all National Parks in the USA. He had a huge smile on his face the whole week. It was great to see him get all excited when we saw the animals and the BIG Sky Country!

Dubb has always wanted to go fly fishing in Yellowstone. He got his wish and got some new wading boots so him and Lon went fishing. I sat in my lawn chair with a good book and they had a few bites but no luck at a fish!



Here is all the wildlife we saw, all but the 3 Bears we saw. The park rangers wouldn't let us get close enough to get any good pictures.

This was a awesome week with the Guys it was fun to hear all the story's Lon had to tell about his childhood. I hated to come back to the "real" world!
