Family Fun

My Sister's family has property up Ogden Canyon and we got to go have fun for a Sunday with them. We are lucky to get to go up to the mountains.We love it.

Early that morning Dubb spent a long time cleaning "his" baby. Why Men clean trucks when they know they are going in the MUD. I just don't get it. Our Nephew's met us at the gate and rode 4 wheelers up to the camp. As we drove there was another truck and Dubb pulled over to let the truck pass and sunk in the mud. He was so mad and all we did was laugh at him, he was super mad and was cussing like a SAILOR. So we laughed harder at him. He finally had to eat some humble pie and have Shawn pull him out in the Jeep.

 We had fun playing horse shoes. Me and Dubb against Kyle and Kolt. Dubb and I won the first match.

Kyle playing with Cooper. He was happy if we let him run loose, but I was scared we wouldn't find him. He took off and we had to tie him up. He loves the investigate the outdoors. 

 I got a ringer. woot!! woot!!

 

I am thankful for family and the great times we have together.

Dubb's New hobby

Dubb's new Hobby. He bought a Compound Bow for Archery Hunting. He is having a blast shooting at Targets. My Family all have bow's and shoot. They kept telling Dubb he needed to buy one and so he did. he went to a 3-D shoot and had to shoot at animal targets. It was fun to watch the guys shoot. He wants me to get into the archery, but I still don't know if it's my passion. It's been fun to watch him score his target shooting and watch his improvement each week. The Deer will "fear" him this hunting season!!

Christmas 2013

I am so blessed this Christmas. I got surprised with a necklace from Dubb. I was so shocked we decided to not buy gifts separately this year, because we are getting a satellite dish for our trailer this year. I was sitting there Christmas morning and Dubb handed me this box. I opened it and He said your "MY ANGEL" I couldn't imagine life without you. Needless to say that I was bawling my eyes out. I'm one lucky girl to have him in my life and would be lost without him. It's the little words in life that make you feel so loved. I am grateful for this Christmas Season and the Savior's birth to remind us about the little things in life to keep us grounded. Hope you all enjoyed your Christmas this year.

Life after 50 ....

Life after 50. Hubby gets to have the dreaded colonoscopy.

He was such the trooper he took the prep like a pro. I have to say I was scared that when he saw this huge jug he would back out. But he didn't. You hear all the horror story's about the prep. I think for him it was drinking all this and "nothing" happened for a long time, like 5 hours of waiting for the "run" to the bathroom kicked in. His poor tummy was so bloated and he just laid on the couch and groaned. He was starving because you have to not eat any solid food for the day before the prep. You just drink this "nasty" stuff so he called it. The morning of the procedure he was calm and ready. We got to the hospital and it was a quick procedure 30 minutes and he was done. Heck I didn't have time to be bored in the waiting room. Then it was off to the recovery room. As I walked in I'm always a little leery at what you will see in recovery. He was laying there and I walked up and he sat straight up in the bed and said, "Where am I"? I told him he was in recovery. Then he said, "How did I get here'? He was so funny and I was trying not to laugh out loud. They Nurse came in and told him he needed to pass gas before he goes home. After the Nurse left the room. He said " I can't FART or I will POOP in the bed he was so loud and I was so embarrassed. But lucky everything was OK and he dodged the bullet without any accidents. WHEW !!!. I can hardly wait for My Colonoscopy when I turn 50.

We have Barn guests....

I was working in my garden and went into my barn to get a rake.

I could hear this "scratchin" I freaked out and called for Dubb

he said, It's prolly the neighbors cats. As he climbed up the ladder to take a peek

It wasn't the neighbors cat but RACOON'S

Not just one but a whole dang family...

Dubb hurried and called my nephew's Kyle and Kolt

And told them to bring ammo they brought their pellet guns and lots of pellets thank goodness.

I was instructed to hit the ceiling and try to make the RACOON'S stick their heads up so "Fearless Hunter's" could take aim.

Kyle and Kolt were so brave and jumped up on ladders and got into position.

Dubb climbed up the rafters and  the RACOON'S had been house guests for quite some time (lots of evidence) if ya know what I mean.
 I'm so Thankful for AWESOME family that will come to help in a moments notice.

Cooper has been freaking out with all the pounding and mess. He will eat the sheetrock chunks if Dubb leaves anything on the floor Cooper is there to eat it!
I can't wait till we are done with the Bedroom and then it's on to the Laundry Room.

Dubb's little helper!

Dubb has been building a new 4wheeler trailer so we can pull it behind our 5th wheel trailer.

I just had a take this cute pic of his little helper.

Cooper would grab his tools and run Thur the yard, he even grabbed a crescent wrench it was heavy and he had it in his mouth running all over the place and if you tried to get it from him he would run faster.

I'm so glad I'm married to a handy man that can save us $$$$ !
