My Week of Fun with My Sista .....

Our week of fun started on ThursdayJuly 19th. We have been going to the Miss Rodeo Utah contest for years. We went to the Horsemanship, these girls are amazing. It's going to be hard to pick a winner.

Friday July 20th We tackled City Creek  AWESOME mall. It was so BIG and so pretty we walked a ton. We loved the beauty of the stream that ran thru the mall. We were suprised that it was afforable in some stores. I thought it would be outta this girls "budget" but it wasn't too bad. We had lunch at the Cheese Cake Factory. YUMMY Cheesecake. I had a piece with butterfingers and Reese's Peanutbutter Cups. My Sister had Oreo it was so good and worth all the calories. I bought some lotion and a bath boom at Lush. I can't wait to have a nice hot bubble bath.

 Saturday 20th We started the day at the Miss Rodeo Utah Speeches. Wow all 11 contestaants had to speak on the great state of Utah. These ladies are so poised and ready to speak in public for sure. We had lunch at Chilli's and then we went to the Katy Perry Movie. So fun to see Katy Perry life while on tour.

Then we went to the Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo. We were Lucky to see Kaycee Fields ride.

Specialty Act One-Arm Bandit, We tried to round up buffalo. They were so stubborn that he was having a hard time getting them to jump on top of the trailer.

Fun Times with my Sista

I just love shopping and hanging out with my Sista. We went to SLC shopping and had no luck. Only because we had money. I find that if you have NO Money then you find everything you want.

 So we decided on a movie.

 The Vow I totally LOVED it. It made me giggle and cry at the same time. I was scared I wouldn't like it because a friend at work said her daughter didn't like it. I loved it and would give it a thumbs up!

Fun times with my Sista

I have taught my Sista the art of Thifting or (DUMPSTER DIVING) as she calls it. I told her all the good stuff you can get at the DI and now that is her FAVORITE place to shop. We went DD'n and I grabbed a cart she was like "a cart,really" I said you never know when your going to find something good. Let's just say she filled the cart to the brim. I said "a cart, really" I think she is addicted. I have created a monster!

What a Women Wants ????

Shopping baby.... My Sista and I went to the http://www.whatawomanwantsshow.com/ show at the South Towne Center today. We shopped our guts out, then it was off for some lunch at http://www.fiveguys.com/home.aspx it was the BEST burger and fries ever. Then we hit the South Towne Mall and of course shopped some more! On your way home we just had to have a hot fudge sundae at Dairy Queen. As we drove home things got a little exciting. We got to Layton and of course the good ol "orange barrel" nightmare. We saw a UHP and he hits his lights on so no panic he was in front of us. We drove a little farther and RED LIGHTS were flashing ok PANIC it was us he was pulling over.

Officer  "why did you follow my buddy so close"??

Sista - Who is your BUDDY?

Officer- UHP

Sista- I didn't think I was following him too close!

Officer- Give me your license, Is this YOUR car?

Sista- A YEAH

So as the sweat was pouring off us as Mr. Officer was checkin Sista's criminal record.

He came back and said where are you headed?

Sista- HOME

Officer- Where is Home?

Sista- Ogden

Officer- Ok I will let you go with a warning!!!

Sista- I was so scared to drive to SLC it was my first time to drive that far from home.

Officer- Giggles, well drive safe.

Whew we got off with a warning yeah for us.

Fun Times with my Sister

My sister wanted to make a chunky watch and charms to add to our necklaces and let me tell ya treasure beads is the place for beads. They have so many beads and they are so helpful. We got to learn how to apply the beads to head pins and use jump rings. Totally fun!

The is was off to the mall my sister wanted to get a MAC Cosmetic make over

Wow those gal's at the MAC counter know how to do a face, Our makeup artist was Lena at Macy's. She was patient with all our questions that we both had. My sister looked amazing when she was done. I feel like I need a makeover now.

We made charms until our fingers hurt, they look so cute we can't wait to show off our handy work!
