Family Fun

My Sister's family has property up Ogden Canyon and we got to go have fun for a Sunday with them. We are lucky to get to go up to the mountains.We love it.

Early that morning Dubb spent a long time cleaning "his" baby. Why Men clean trucks when they know they are going in the MUD. I just don't get it. Our Nephew's met us at the gate and rode 4 wheelers up to the camp. As we drove there was another truck and Dubb pulled over to let the truck pass and sunk in the mud. He was so mad and all we did was laugh at him, he was super mad and was cussing like a SAILOR. So we laughed harder at him. He finally had to eat some humble pie and have Shawn pull him out in the Jeep.

 We had fun playing horse shoes. Me and Dubb against Kyle and Kolt. Dubb and I won the first match.

Kyle playing with Cooper. He was happy if we let him run loose, but I was scared we wouldn't find him. He took off and we had to tie him up. He loves the investigate the outdoors. 

 I got a ringer. woot!! woot!!

Elko Nevada Truck Pulls- Bonneville Salt Flats 2011

This weekend we were at Elko Nevada for the truck Pulls 2 Wild Diesel is the points leader in the "Super Mod Diesel class" It's so awesome to be a part of the 2 Wild Diesel Cheering crowd and to see how good Ken is pulling.

This was a cool looking truck it reminded me of Grave Digger.

Lacey pulling Wild Diesel has done all the work on her truck to get it ready to pull. She placed 2nd in her division.

                        On our drive home we decided to stop and see the Bonneville Salt Flats. We have drove past them a bunch of times but never stopped so it was fun to see the flats up close.

Cooper would try to sniff the ground and "lick" it needless to say he needed a HUGE drink of water after we got back to the truck.






We are off to Rock Springs next weekend for the NADA Pulls we are headed to the Big time.

4th of July - Malad Truck Pulls 2011

I think this was one of the 1st 4th of July's that we have actually been home and not camping this year.
We went riding our bikes in Huntsville with friends. I was doing ok on the "no hills" but then our friends wanted to check out the "mountains" I didn't do so well I was freaking out to ride over BOULDERS and fall off the CLIFFS so I wimped out and "walked my bike " down the steep hills and said "I'm DONE". We had a Yummy BBQ and then we were off to the "FIREWORKS". Dubb is not a Fireworkskindaguy so I was happy I got the chane to watch them up close. My nephew Kyle called me and I told him to come find us and we got to watch fireworks with them too!

We got to go to Malad Idaho Truck Pulls with 2Wild Diesel they had a lot of trucks there and Ken had a great Pull so far he is in 1st Place of the Points for the Association. So of course it was a good night.

Cooper has been freaking out with all the pounding and mess. He will eat the sheetrock chunks if Dubb leaves anything on the floor Cooper is there to eat it!
I can't wait till we are done with the Bedroom and then it's on to the Laundry Room.

Look who's ONE !!!

My baby Cooper is 1! He has a mind of his own. He is suppose to be "my dog" but loves dubb better than me (sniff sniff) He will howl to the top of his lungs when Dubb leaves out of his sight. He likes to give me kisses on the nose before I go to work.

My only complaint about Coop is he still wants to eat his POOP then give you a kiss uuuggghhhh

This is what happens......

When I take a bubble bath. As I was soaking I could hear noises I just thought it was the TV but NO I get out to find this nice little mess. Who knew my little bundle of fur could do this so fast! -Dawni

HOUDINI In the making...

So I think we have a Houdini in the making. I was making dinner and I let Cooper outside, I had the windows open and I could hear his tags jingle I looked out and saw him running up my driveway. I went outside and he was crawling back under my gate (little brat)!
Dubb says "he can't fit under the gate" I said watch Houdini we walked out to my garden and Little Houdini didn't disapoint. I looked at Dubb as he shimmed under the gate. So Dubb had to lower the gate so he couldn't get out.
We came inside for dinner and I could hear Cooper but couldn't find him, We called him and no Cooper, finally Dubb looked under my Hutch and two beatty eyes stared back at him. It was such a tight fight I have no idea how he got under there. We are conceived that Cooper has a new name "Mr.Houdini"

Dubb has been building a new 4wheeler trailer so we can pull it behind our 5th wheel trailer.

I just had a take this cute pic of his little helper.

Cooper would grab his tools and run Thur the yard, he even grabbed a crescent wrench it was heavy and he had it in his mouth running all over the place and if you tried to get it from him he would run faster.

Cooper's Stats

Our little Coop is a WHOPPING 3lbs now and has all his shots so now he can go to the groomer....yeah! He looks like a shaggy dog! Dubb has taught him to sit and dance for a treat! Now he is working on getting him to shake.

Our strapping lil "Coop" is now 2.5 lbs

We took him to his first Vet appointment to get his shots, It was hard to hold back tears when he got his shots and let out the yelps. Dubb nearly passed out he hates needles!

It's been 2 years since I had a baby in the house.
My friend "Miss Marlene" from my ward had poodles and of course I had to have one!
He is so stinkin cute and small.
It's so fun to have a new baby again, Miss M sent me home with this little cute basket!
