Grey's River -Afton Truck Pulls 2011

This weekend we camped at a new "favorite place" the Grey's River in Alpine Wyoming. Ken's Brother Eric and his wife Penny invited us to go camping before the Truck Pulls in Afton Wyoming.

The view from our trailer

Our Camp

The trail where 3 Deer ran thru camp and I missed all of them

The "guys" getting the gun ready to shoot

Wild flowers were everywhere the mountain was a sea of yellow

Eric teaching me to shoot a 22 long rifle pistol. The last time I tried my hand at shooting I nearly shot Dubb, not good
so it was good to feel safe with a real marksman teaching me all the safety things about guns. It took me 100+ rounds but I finally hit the can.

Darla was a natural at shooting she hit the can on her 1st and 2nd shots.

We went to the Bar J Wranglers on Friday night.

If you haven't been there I would really recommend it they are funny and I love the music and food.

On Saturday it was off to Afton Wyoming to the Truck Pulls
Ken took 3rd the elevation made the Diesel's not happy. So This is a learning experience to get 2Wild Diesel all programmed in when he pulls at higher elevations and next time. We hope he takes
1st.

We rode over Elizabeth Ridge the elevation was 10,235. It was so amazing to see the valley

The trail was pretty rocky but so worth the view up there.

Our last night after all our friends and family left Dubb and I went for a ride we found this cool bridge over this creek and a perfect photo opt.

I just love to camp in the mountain far away from the city life pure heaven to relax and have fun with family and friends
