Crafty Weekend

I've been busy getting all of my craft projects done so I can start to craft for Halloween!

Gram's wooden stool

This was my grandma's stool I remember sitting at my kitchen counter and helping make cookies, wash dishes or what ever my grandma was doing. I love all the paint colors I remember all of the different kitchen colors she had painted over the years. It has screws that she has added to the legs to make them steady. Dubb doesn't think it looks like it's done but I love all the specks of paint all I did was put stain over it to make it look older. LOVE IT !!!

ruffle table runner

My 1st attempt at ruffles

 I wanted to make a ruffle table runner to set all my holiday blocks on. I made this out of muslin I tea-stained it to make it look old. I was worried that the ruffles would be hard to do. They were so easy I think I will be making a lot more ruffles.

Fitness Fever

I lost 2 more lbs this week!!

This is what happens......

When I take a bubble bath. As I was soaking I could hear noises I just thought it was the TV but NO I get out to find this nice little mess. Who knew my little bundle of fur could do this so fast! -Dawni

Fitness Fever with a movie thrown into the mix !

I had my weigh in I LOST 3lbs that makes a total of 60 lbs I can't hardly believe it. The Doctor was pretty pleased with my loss and how I have stayed on track! I got a HIGH five from his nurse. I was freaking out because I've been working out like MAD and of course muscle weighs more than fat. I thought I would have gained.

 Then it was off for a movie date with my sister.

We saw "The Switch"  totally a chick flick which we love!

I have a idea !!

We  received a e-mail from my employer last week. Who has the best idea to save money for your department. So I said to my best co-worker Kim hey let's submit a AWESOME idea and win the prize!

So we submitted our idea "Consolidated billing for skilled nursing Facility's" and we took 2nd place.

Here's the loot !!

A Ogio bag, Hoodie, water bottle and a clock not bad for 2nd Place!

Movie Day

We had a girls day at the movies we went to the Julie Roberts movie Eat,Pray,Love.

I didn't hate it,like my sister hated it. It was all about finding your self and being happy I would love to do the travel part to find myself.!! haha

Travel the world and find my happy self hmmmm How can this be arranged?

Maybe I need a SUGAR DADDY!!!

Weber County Fair 2010

Dawni,Dubb and Cooper

It's that time of year to go to the local county fair. http://www.webercountyfair.com/  good times love to see all your friends and family and of course the animals. Dubb decided that Cooper had to come to the fair with us. I was shocked how good he was. He would whine when he saw the animals. He was in heaven to smell all the animal smells and try to eat all the "poop" on the ground!

Jani and Kolt

Dubb and I took my Sister and Kolt to the fair and then we met up with Kyle and his friend Nick. The Boys wanted to go watch the Hypotist and we looked for them for 30 minutes. They loved all the crazy stuff the people on stage were doing.

He watched the Youth Rodeo it was fun to see all the kids of the people we rodeoed with. And to see the Chicken Chase all the young kids try to chase a fast running chicken.

Where's the Chicken?


Good times at the fair..can't wait until next year!
