Visiting Teaching - Neighboor Gifts

For a "warm" hand of friendship just as you've given us and the wish for a joyous season with love aplenty under the tree! I added a oven mit and gave this to my Visiting Teaching Sister's or you could give it to a neighbor!

Vegas- NFR 2011

We headed to Vegas for a little R&R Cowboy style!
We had tickets to the NFR this year and we had so much fun. I loved every minute of our 5 days there! Shopping and COWBOYS my heart be still. We started out walking down the strip and checking out the Casino's.

We had tickets to the NFR on Saturday with My Dad and Step Mom Carol. It was so fun. I love Rodeo but to be at the SUPER BOWL of Rodeo the NFR (Priceless)

We had a great time at our first NFR I'm HOOKED and I think I will be going every year. Thanks to my family for the invite. It was awesome to spend family time at the RODEO.

Thanksgiving 2011

This year for Thanksgiving we had a bunch of fun with family. We started the morning with Dubb's family. They do a "turkey trot" at Ogden Regional. They have a 2 mile walk or 5 mile run. Thank Goodness we did the 2 mile walk. It was great to get exercise and give food to the food bank.

My Calling

I look back at the last year and my church calling and say WOW. I was so afraid to be in this position of the Relief Society a year a go. But now I look back and I'm so grateful for this opportunity. Even tho it's scary at times and tons to do. I'm glad for those "tender mercy's" when we can help a sister in need. I feel so lucky to serve with the AWESOME ladies I get to giggle with each Wednesday as we plan out the needs of the ward. To think that the Lord has faith in me to serve is such a AWESOME feeling!

Elk Hunt 2011

My Nephew Kyle had a successful Elk Hunt this year he shot a 5pt elk this year. He loves to hunt and I think his Dad is pretty happy about that. They ride horses in the dark to get to that special spot to "bugle" the big ones in and hope for the perfect shot. Now he will have a nice rack to hang on the garage wall just like his Dad. I got my tickets to the NFR. This is our first time going. My Sister's Family are season ticket holders so we got hooked up. I can hardly wait to see all the COWBOYS and WRANGLER butts!

Fall Fun....with lots of Excitement

Dubb and I went on a ATV ride up to Inspiration Point it was so pretty and the fall leaves were amazing. We saw a deer and lots of other ATV, Motorcycle riders as well. I wish I would have got pictures of the leaves they were so pretty, tons of colors.

Hello....Ogden we tried to find our house but there are too many trees!

WE MADE IT!!!

We decided to take a different trail on the way down and that is where I had a teeny weeny bit of a problem. I'm known to roll my ATV when I have to go up steep inclines or down side hills. Well I didn't disappoint! Dubb was going first and I followed but instead of riding safely down the hill I ROLLED. Dubb was thankfully there to try to hold my 700 lb ATV up so I could crawl out. After I dusted myself off I helped Dubb roll "ol RED" back over and down the hill we went. It's not a ATV ride unless I get to "tuck and roll" and have battle bruises to talk about!-Dawni
