My Week of Fun With My Sister cont.

 Our week continues on Monday July 23rd with the Miss Rodeo Utah Fashion show. It's so fun to see the contestants and watch them dance and model different Western wear. And to see their Western Leather Dress.

Bailey's dress was so beautiful. It had purple flowers all over and tons of rhinestones.

Makenzie's dress so so pretty it had long strips of rawhide on the arms, it was so pretty as she twirled and modeled her dress.

Chenae Shiner looked so pretty I thought her dress looked like fireworks/swirls in different colors. Her shape is so tiny and petite. 

All 11 contestants dancing and modeling I would have a rough time if I was a judge.

Then it was off to the Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo The Pre Rodeo entertainment was the Free Style Horsemanship for Miss Rodeo Utah .

Old Glory being brought in by the sky divers it is truly a moving scene to see this and feel our freedom and how lucky we are to live in a nation that is free.

 

Are you tough enough to wear pink? Rodeo honors the brave Women and Men would battle cancer. We all wear pink to support the cause. They auctioned off  a flag pole and fire pit, They raised $ 6200.00 dollars to support the cancer cause.

When I got to the stadium and looked at the program I was so excited to see so many Top Cowboys and Cowgirls of the WNFR. I was PUMPED to watch the greatest Rodeo in the dirt of Ogden Pioneer Stadium.

  Tuf Cooper- This is who I named my Dog Cooper after. Tuf has red hair and Cooper is a Red Poodle so I felt like it was a perfect match.

 My heart be still I was SO EXCITED  to see Cody Ohl he is my Ultimate Fav in Tie Down Roping. I let out a HUGE SCREAM. I asked my nephew's that if he was at the Rodeo please come with me to meet him and get a picture. But of course they think I'm Dumb and said NO. I was too chicken to go by myself to ask for a picture. Most of the cowboys Boogie after they run to get to their next Rodeo. So I probably would have missed him anyways :(

We just have one more day of fun, then it's back to work. I have to say I'm kinda bummed this week brings so many fun memories, from my childhood. I love the Ogden Pioneer Days week of fun. It's going to be hard to go back to "real life". I'm so thankful for my BF Kim who was there at work, working her guts out so I could have fun a week with my Sister.
