Yellowstone 2014

Yellowstone our favorite place to vacation. It was a even better vacation this year we went with my Sister and her family. We had a great time. We stopped in West Yellowstone over night and then went into the park and stayed at Fishing Bridge with my Sister's Family.

Shopping in West Yellowstone. I was coming out of my favorite Candy Shoppe and saw this Jeep with the stuffed bears. It made me giggle to see the old Jeep and the bears all over it.

Wayne and I went to the Grizzly and Wolf exhibit, amazing to see these wolf's up close.

It was so hot that day and I'm sure the wolf's tried to stay out of the hot sun.

Someone threw a plastic bottle into the wolf 's exhibit and the wolf was chomping on it. The staff were trying to get the bottle away from the wolf. It's a shame that someone would throw something into their exhibit.

This wolf was HUGE. He would pace back and forth. It was neat to see them up close

The added Birds to the exhibit since the last time we there. This falcon was so pretty. His feathers were so pretty.

Can you guess "WHO"This is?
A horned Owl and the only animal that will kill a skunk. The have so smell so they don't mind if the skunk sprays. They can't smell them. Too bad we didn't have Owl when we had our little skunk problem.

These Bald Eagle"s they named them after wounded military soldiers from Iraq.

This Bald Eagle lost his wing and was brought here to be cared for and protected from the wild.

Sam the Grizzly- The staff said we were really lucky to see him, for the past few weeks he didn't come out when they opened his cage. Maybe he is SHY. He roamed around and looked for all the food the staff had hidden for him.

He would roll over these huge rocks like nothing to find the food.

He came right up close to the cage. He weighs 1200lbs.

Getting ready to jump into the pool they have for them.

We went into the park and My Sister's has always wanted to go to the Cody Wyoming Rodeo. It was on her "Bucket List". As we drove over to Cody it was black skies and we all teased her that the Rodeo would be rained out. It poured the whole time we shopped in Cody but when it was Rodeo time the skies parted and the weather was beautiful.

When we got the day sheet, we were so excited a bunch of PRCA top Cowboys were up in Cody.

Thank Goodness for the covered seating. It was great to see the crowds from all over.

WE loved the Military on horse back present the colors.

The specialty act were Indian Youth riding group that rode with no saddles or bridles they had a small leather rein around the horses neck to guide them. They were so good and they didn't even look like they were going to fall off.

They jumped over a jump and some of the riders did this with no hands. I would be so scared to ride with no saddle or bridle and then to jump over a jump. CRAZY !!!!

I love to see the falls at Yellowstone it makes me scared to be close and see the power that the water has.

The different color of the rock were so pretty. These pictures don't do it justice.

I walked down closer to the falls and to feel the power of the rushing water was a bit of a rush.

The splashing on the rocks almost made you get wet from the power of the water.

It was so loud to hear these falls

The mist would spray on your face. It's freaky to be that close to the rushing water. Wayne always wonders what the first Mountain Men thought of these falls and the beauty of Yellowstone.

As we hike down to the falls I didn't realize the HUGE hike we had on the way back up.

The Grand Tetons

This is what happens when we leave the guys at a park while My Sister and I go out to The Bar J Wranglers to save a seat. The guys didn't want to go seat in the hot sun, so we dropped them off at a park in Jackson Hole. We went out to the Bar J and waited in line. It was so hot and an elderly lady ended up passing out from the heat. It was sad to see her and her family be so upset and concerned about her health.

Bar J Wranglers

I love the way they sing the old time "Country Music"

We were lucky enough to Babe Humphreys he is retired from performing and will make a appearance every once in a while. It was great to see him perform.

We are so lucky to go on Vacation with family and have a great time. I love making memory's with my family.
